Time and Consciousness (quantum theory and going backwards in time)
-equations of physics have time reversal symmetry
-time may only exist in consciousness - sense of "now" connected in memory, but outside consciousness there is no "flow" of time
-consciousness gives classical world flow of time. quantum world time does not flow
-two particles in superposition and entangled
-separate the two and make a measurement of one and the other instantaneously reduces to the complimentary situation
-this means there is instant communication (faster than the speed of light)
-speed of communication is prevented by relativity, so "quantum" information goes backwards in time to when the particles were unified and then forward in time to the now separate particle
-time travel causes paradoxes
-if a tree falls and no one is around...
-answer depends on interpretation of quantum mechanics
-copenhagen - no: quantum superposition of multiple possibilities and tree does not fall unless someone observes it falling
-decoherence - yes: it collapses to one possibility
-objective-reduction - yes: it has reached the threshold for collapse
Second Law of Thermodynamics
-things unwind and move forward - arrow of time does not hold true in the micro/quantum world
-time is symmetrical on classical level - electromagnetic information goes forwards and backwards
-backwards information is only perceived by a coherent observer (maybe consciousness?)
What is Consciousness?
-self-collapse of wave functionality
-natural state of the quantum world - quantum superposition (superposition of multiple states of locations)
-copenhagen - conscious observation causes collapse of wave function
-multi-worlds hypothesis - every superposition branches off and forms a new universe
-interaction of superposition with environment causes decoherence
-superpositions grow until they meet threshold that causes the switch from quantum state to classical
Creating Your Own Reality
-a superposition reaches "threshold" and self collapses and chooses a reality at that point (multiple choices/possibilities)
-plutonic information embedded in fundamental level of universe helps to influence the choice that is made (only in objective-reduction)

-consciousness - process in fundamental space-time geometry (everywhere in universe)
-protoconsciousness (subconsciousness) exists at the fundamental level of space-time geometry and is everywhere and always was, always is and always will be
